The first step in supporting Ravenna students is making sure you’re ready to vote YES on Issue 16! Review the following details so that you are prepared to vote on November 7.

When is Election Day?
Tuesday, November 7, 2023. The polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where do I go to vote?
Am I registered to vote?
Double-check your registration status before Election Day! In Ohio, you must be registered to vote at least 30 days prior to Election Day – which would be October 8.
Ensure you are registered to vote by October 8.
Register to vote or update your current registration by October 8.
What should I bring with me when I vote?
- Ohio driver’s license
- State of Ohio ID card
- Interim ID form issued by the Ohio BMV
- US passport
- US passport card
- US military ID card
- Ohio National Guard ID card
- US Department of Veterans Affairs ID card
All photo IDs must have the following:
- An expiration date that has not passed
- A photograph of the voter
- The voter’s name, which must substantially conform to the voter’s name as it appears in the Poll List or in the Poll Book
What happens when I show up at my polling location?
Once you’re done, a poll worker will help you scan in your ballot and give you a special “I Voted!” sticker. Then you can go about your day feeling proud that you played your part in supporting Ravenna students!
